Build Real-World Defensive Skills Beyond the Basics

The Intermediate Pistol Course is designed for shooters who have completed a concealed carry or introductory handgun class and are ready to take the next step toward practical defensive capability. This course focuses on applying foundational marksmanship skills in more dynamic and realistic scenarios where efficiency, problem-solving, and decision-making matter. This course is ideal for concealed carriers who want to move beyond qualification standards and begin developing real-world defensive shooting capability in a structured, safe, and professional training environment.

We will meet at the main building at the Cameo Education and Shooting Complex at 3934 I 9/10 Rd, Palisade CO 81526 and then go to our shooting bay as a group. We will be running the course rain or shine so please plan accordingly. There is also a building on our shooting bay to keep gear and equipment. 

Items you will need for the course are:

Firearm - Unloaded

Holster (Kydex Holster preferred)

Eye & Ear Protection

At least 2 pistol magazines (Minimum)

Magazine Pouch

300 rounds of ammunition for your firearm of choice.

Gun Cleaning Kit (Optional)

Other recommended items:

• Water

• Lunch /Snacks (We break for lunch but you won't have time to leave the range to go get food)

• Folding chair

• Notebook

• Sunscreen

• Hat
