Terms & Conditions

Course Registration & Payment

All PLC Training courses require full payment at the time of registration to reserve a seat. Seats are limited, and your registration prevents others from enrolling.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of in-person training, instructor scheduling, range reservations, insurance, and administrative costs, all sales are final unless otherwise stated below.

Refunds are NOT issued for:

  • Failure to attend the course

  • Partial attendance

  • Scheduling conflicts

  • Personal emergencies

  • Weather conditions (unless PLC Training cancels the course)

  • Failure to meet course prerequisites

  • Dissatisfaction after course completion

  • Requests made after the course date

Cancellation by Student

If you are unable to attend a scheduled course:

  • More than 7 days before the course date:
    You may request a one-time course credit (no cash refund) valid for 12 months from the original course date.

  • 7 days or fewer before the course date:
    No refund or credit will be issued.

Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

No-Show Policy

Failure to attend a course without prior notice constitutes a no-show.
No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows.

Course Transfers

Course registrations may not be transferred to another person without prior written approval from PLC Training.

Cancellation or Rescheduling by PLC Training

PLC Training reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to:

  • Instructor illness or emergency

  • Range closure or unsafe conditions

  • Low enrollment

  • Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control

If PLC Training cancels a course, students will be offered:

  • A full refund or

  • Transfer to a future course date.

Chargebacks & Disputes

By registering for a PLC Training course, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a time-specific service.

Initiating a chargeback after attending or failing to attend a course is a violation of this agreement. PLC Training reserves the right to:

  • Submit documentation disputing the chargeback

  • Recover administrative fees associated with chargebacks

  • Deny future enrollment

Agreement

By completing your registration and submitting payment, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood this policy

  • Agree to all terms and conditions

  • Waive the right to chargebacks outside this policy

Eligibility Requirements

PLC Training courses are intended only for individuals who are legally permitted to possess firearms and related equipment under federal, state, and local law.

By registering for any PLC Training course, you affirm that:

  • You are not a convicted felon, unless your firearm rights have been fully restored under applicable law

  • You are not prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition under state or federal law

  • You are legally eligible to participate in firearms and defensive training activities

PLC Training does not provide legal advice and does not verify legal eligibility prior to registration.
Responsibility for eligibility rests solely with the student.

Disqualification & Removal

PLC Training reserves the right to:

  • Deny enrollment

  • Remove a participant from a course

  • Terminate training immediately

If a participant is found to be legally prohibited, dishonest about eligibility, unsafe, or disruptive.

No refunds or credits will be issued if a participant is removed or denied participation due to ineligibility or violation of this policy.

Lawful Use of Training & Information

All training, instruction, techniques, and materials provided by PLC Training are intended solely for:

  • Lawful self-defense

  • Personal safety

  • Professional development

  • Constitutionally protected activities

  • Training compliance and education

Any use of knowledge or skills for unlawful purposes is strictly prohibited.

PLC Training does not condone, endorse, or support:

  • Criminal activity

  • Vigilantism

  • Offensive or retaliatory violence

  • Threats, intimidation, or harassment

  • Misuse of firearms or defensive tactics

Limitation of Responsibility

PLC Training is not responsible for:

  • Misuse of training or information

  • Actions taken by students outside the training environment

  • Criminal or unlawful behavior by participants before or after training

All students assume full responsibility for their actions and decisions.

Acknowledgment & Agreement

By registering for a PLC Training course, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You meet all legal eligibility requirements

  • You understand the lawful limitations of the training provided

  • You accept full responsibility for compliance with all applicable laws

  • You release PLC Training from liability arising from unlawful or improper use of training

PLC Training – Assumption of Risk, Hold Harmless, Media Release & Legal Agreement

State of Colorado

By registering for, attending, or participating in any PLC Training course, event, or activity, the participant (“Student”) acknowledges, agrees, and accepts the following terms in full.

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand and acknowledge that firearms training, defensive tactics training, and related activities are inherently dangerous and involve risks including, but not limited to:

  • Serious bodily injury

  • Permanent disability

  • Death

  • Property damage

These risks may arise from:

  • My own actions or inactions

  • The actions or inactions of other participants

  • Use or malfunction of firearms, ammunition, holsters, or equipment

  • Environmental conditions

  • Instructor instruction or supervision

I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with participation in PLC Training courses.

2. Hold Harmless & Release of Liability (Colorado)

To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, I release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless PLC Training, its owners, instructors, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, hosts, landowners, ranges, churches, facilities, and agents from any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to:

  • My participation in training

  • Use or misuse of firearms or equipment

  • Physical injury or death

  • Property damage

  • Negligence (except where prohibited by law)

This release applies before, during, and after the course and survives completion of training.

3. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and defend PLC Training against any claims, lawsuits, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

  • My actions or omissions

  • My violation of this agreement

  • My violation of any law

  • My misuse of training or equipment

4. No Warranty / Educational Purpose Only

I acknowledge that:

  • PLC Training provides education and training only

  • No guarantees are made regarding outcomes, skill mastery, or legal protection

  • PLC Training does not provide legal advice

  • Training does not authorize unlawful conduct

All techniques and instruction are intended solely for lawful self-defense and constitutionally protected activities.

5. Eligibility & Legal Compliance (Reaffirmation)

I affirm that:

  • I am legally eligible to possess firearms under federal and Colorado law

  • I am not a prohibited person or convicted felon without restored rights

  • I understand it is my responsibility to comply with all applicable laws

If I am found to be ineligible, unsafe, or dishonest, I may be removed without refund.

6. Medical Responsibility

I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in training.
I accept full responsibility for any medical condition or injury arising from participation.

PLC Training is not responsible for medical expenses.

7. Media Release

I grant PLC Training the irrevocable right and permission to photograph, record, and use my likeness, image, voice, or video during training for:

  • Marketing

  • Advertising

  • Educational materials

  • Social media

  • Website and promotional content

I waive:

  • Any right to inspect or approve media

  • Any claim for compensation or royalties

This release applies worldwide and in perpetuity.

8. Binding Agreement Through Registration

I understand and agree that:

  • Registering for a PLC Training course constitutes my full acceptance of this agreement

  • No physical signature is required

  • This agreement is legally binding

  • I waive the right to dispute this agreement after registration

9. Governing Law & Venue

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
Any dispute shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within Colorado.

10. Severability

 

If any portion of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
